I've added some links to birdwatching and bird related sites. I particularly recommend A DC Birding Blog. It's very interesting and useful, and it inspired me to take a surprisingly productive midsummer bird walk yesterday in Dyke Marsh. More on this and other matters soon.

hi from countrygrrl!!! i was walking at DAWYCK botanical gardens near Peebles amongst the Douglas Firs and it was faab..even saw a few birds too...
