Farewell 2006!

And quite a year it was and it just kept being interesting right to the end. As we mourn James Brown, Gerald Ford, and all others, public & private, who may have passed this year, let's look ahead and celebrate that life does indeed go on, with or without us as individuals.

I'll be foregoing the usual New Year's Eve debauchery this year since I plan to get up VERY early on New Year's Day and participate in a bird count in nearby Maryland.

"The lesson which life repeats and constantly enforces is 'look under foot.' You are always nearer the divine and the true sources of your power than you think."—John Burroughs

Hope your New Year is divine and powerful!

Thank You! And Congratulations!

Thank you Time! And thank you to all my visitors who have made it possible for me to share this honor with millions of other bloggers, Webmasters, huge corporations, and all the Web content providers large and small....

But seriously.... I've added a new music link over to the right. Nialler9 is an interesting Irish music blog. Check it out.

I should have a new poem soon among other new postings. Stay tuned!
